My most important service to clients - establishing fluid transitions between your house and your garden. Autumn is the time to plant all trees and shrubs, establish or divide perennials, and ground covers, create winter edible gardens, as well as sow or sod lawns.  Let's get together to make a "green print."  For example, autumn is the perfect time to plant deciduous trees on the south side of your house for shade in the summer and for letting the winter sun warm your living space.  Passive solar saves energy.

In the Carolina Piedmont we are blessed with an incredible bio-diversity of flora and fauna, with challenging climate and soil conditions. I want to work with you to make nature’s riches available to you and your children through ecologically sound practices.
