Mediterranean Garden: Green Rise, Orange County
This small estate on Dairyland Road is a good example of how well a Mediterranean Garden works with the climate and soil of the Piedmont region of North Carolina. The owner of this property is Greek and she asked me to help her create gardens on the grounds filled with all the plants she remembers from her childhood in Greece. The landscape is now filled with all the frangrances she savors such as rosemary, lavender and oregano, as well as beautiful grasses.
